Aveta Malaysia is set to excite the market once again with the newly upgraded Ranger Max Explorer - solidifying its reputation as Malaysia’s original and leading adventure cub.
Since its debut in 2023, the Ranger Max Explorer has garnered strong support from Malaysian riders, thanks to its bold retro-modern design and its ability to tackle both city streets and off-road trails with ease. Building on the success of the original model, Aveta now introduces a refreshed version equipped with a series of key enhancements, a new colour option for the standard variant, and an all-new Special Edition (SE) variant designed with urban riders in mind.
The upgraded Ranger Max Explorer delivers enhanced performance, greater durability, and improved safety. Key upgrades include the addition of front and rear disc brakes for stronger, more confident braking, as well as a redesigned front mudguard and fender liner to better deflect water and mud. The bike is also equipped with improved handlebar buttons, enhanced handle grips with additional bar-end balancers, and a reinforced patented T-bone chassis – maintaining its lightweight build while ensuring exceptional stability and handling.
Another notable upgrade is the increased ground clearance, now at 190mm – 10mm higher than the previous model – further enhancing its off-road performance. Additional refinements have been made to the absorber system, wiring system, speedometer, throttle cable, swingarm, pillion footrest, and main stand, all working together to deliver a smoother and more capable riding experience. To enhance performance and simplify maintenance, Aveta has removed the vacuum pump in favour of a more efficient and upgraded fuel supply system – all while keeping the overall weight impressively light at just 115kg.
Staying true to its dual-purpose adventure DNA, the Standard variant is now offered with a bold new colour option, Iron Grey. It comes equipped with the new reinforced and upgraded 18-inch front and 16-inch rear spoke rims paired with dual-purpose tyres – ideal for riders who want a bike that performs equally well on paved roads and rugged trails. Despite the upgrades, the Standard variant maintains its original attractive price of RM6,988 (excluding insurance and road tax), making it one of the most accessible adventure cubs in the market.
For those who prefer a sportier, street-focused experience, the all-new Ranger Max Explorer Special Edition (SE) steps in. Presented in an exclusive Storm Blue colourway, this variant trades spoked wheels for sleek 17-inch two-tone sport rims with tubeless street performance tyres – delivering smoother handling in urban environments. A stylish exhaust cover adds a modern flair, while retaining the bold, adventurous spirit that defines the Explorer line. The SE variant is priced at RM7,188 (excluding insurance and road tax).
To celebrate the launch, Aveta is rewarding the first 25 customers with a custom-designed 36-litre top box, tailored for the Ranger Max Explorer and valued at over RM599. Perfect for daily commutes or weekend getaways, this gift underscores Aveta’s commitment to offering more than just motorcycles – but complete lifestyle mobility solutions.
