The Geely EX2 redefines small car thinking and presents incredible value-for-money for Australians through clever packaging, thoughtful design, advanced safety and technology, and a fun, energising driving experience.

The Geely EX2 was the world's bestselling small EV and the overall bestselling model in China for 2025. This success has fuelled strong market interest since the model’s late-2025 local announcement, with the recent national dealer roadshow generating significant expressions of interest and pre-orders.

Pricing and Launch Offer

Two variants, Complete and Inspire, comprise the local Geely EX2 range. Priced from $26,490 and topping out at $30,990 plus on-road costs, it presents as a highly compelling small car option for buyers seeking a ‘bigger’ experience.

To further strengthen the value proposition, a launch offer will be available from 12 July to 31 August 2026. Customers who order and take delivery of a Geely EX2 during this period will receive a complimentary 7kW home EV charger and premium paint upgrade. Eligible buyers can also benefit from a highly competitive 0.68% comparison rate on a 36-month finance term.

Power and Performance

The entry point to the Geely EX2 range is the Complete variant, powered by a rear-mounted electric motor that produces 60kW of power and 150Nm of torque. Feeding the electric motor is a 35.3kWh battery pack that provides up to 252km of range (WLTP).

The flagship Geely EX2 Inspire is powered by an 85kW/150Nm electric motor and a larger capacity 47.1kWh battery pack, boosting driving range to 345km (WLTP).

Both variants feature an LFP battery pack with dedicated liquid cooling system for optimal battery longevity, driving efficiency, and occupant comfort on warmer days.

Incorporating a rear-wheel drive configuration, the Geely EX2 provides a balanced driving experience. Complementing the rear-wheel drive, a multi-link independent rear suspension setup provides greater driving control and comfort than the torsion beam suspension arrangements more prevalent in the segment. The 11-in-1 electric motor provides sprightly acceleration, ideal for urban environments.

The rear-wheel drive layout of the Geely EX2 affords space for longer steering rack travel, resulting in a 41 degree maximum front steering angle which helps achieve a narrow 9.9m turning circle. These elements, combined with its small footprint, prime the Geely EX2 to navigate busy urban streets and winding outer city roads with ease.

The Geely EX2 has been engineered with driving enjoyment in mind. Australian examples of the model feature a ride and handling tune developed in collaboration with Geely Technology Europe (formerly Lotus Tech Innovation Centre GmbH) to better meet the preferences of European and Australian drivers.

Redefining the Rules of Small: Space, Comfort, and Technology

Intelligent packaging enables the Geely EX2 to deliver generous interior space, challenging the norms of small cars to maximise passenger comfort and cargo capacity.

The Geely EX2 is underpinned by the same Global Intelligent New Energy Architecture (GEA) shared by the Geely EX5 all-electric SUV and Starray EM-i PHEV. GEA's modular structure enables chassis adjustments that optimise usable space, delivering a range of benefits for occupants:

Inside the cabin, over 30 storage spaces are placed throughout; including the standard fitment of a large 70L frunk that rivals those of many larger EVs, 375L boot space, and 10L drawer-style glovebox. Large LED-illuminated vanity mirrors, heated seats, heated steering wheel, and a power tailgate add to everyday comfort and practicality for Inspire.

Both grades feature a 14.6-inch central touchscreen with in-built satellite navigation, Apple CarPlay, and Android Auto capability and 8.8-inch digital instrument cluster. Audio comes through 4 speakers in the Complete variant and 6 speakers in the Inspire variant. 256-colour dynamic ambient lighting completes the mood in the Inspire variant.

Geely Connected Services will be active from August for the Geely EX2, with access included for 24 months from activation. A renewed Geely App will provide remote access to various vehicle functions including door and window control, climate control, vehicle status monitoring, scheduled charging, and more. Emergency Call (eCall) functionality is due to be activated in Q4 via an over-the-air (OTA) update.

Small Car, Big Safety

Safety is central to the Geely EX2's design with advanced levels of passive and active safety included as standard from Complete specification. Active safety features like Evasive Manoevure Assist (EMA) ensure new and seasoned drivers are well protected on every journey. Convenient safety assist features including Intelligent Cruise Control (ICC) and Auto Lane Change Assist (ALC) simplify everyday driving.

The Inspire variant includes a 360-degree around-view monitor with transparent view, improving visibility of the surrounding environment.

Uncompromising Design, Inside and Out

Elevated by considered design elements, the Geely EX2 has been crafted with a smart, youthful character. Impressive ‘tech-style’ LED lighting headlines the front and rear. Semi-concealed door handles with keyless entry complement the vehicle’s elegant profile. The vehicle drives on 16-inch wheels across both variants, with covered steel wheels for Complete and alloy wheels for Inspire. Both wheels wrapped with Yokohama tyres.

The Geely EX2 offers a refreshing alternative to the traditional neutral palette with a selection of six contemporary exterior colours: the standard Moon White, plus premium paint finishes Star Silver, Comet Grey, Nebula Beige, Aurora Green, and Nova Pink. The Inspire variant further enhances its distinctive appearance with a contrasting black roof and metallic accents on the sides of the vehicle.

The interior cabin of the Geely EX2 is finished with Horizon Grey leather-like upholstery as standard, with a no-cost Skyline White option available exclusively on Inspire.
