The 2024 Kia EV9 has earned the prestigious title of Electric Car of the Year and the Best Electric Luxury 3-row seating Vehicle at the Star Carsifu Editors’ Choice Awards 2024. The award ceremony took place at the elegant M Resort Hotel in Kuala Lumpur, celebrating excellence in automotive advancements, recognizing innovation in design, features, and green technology.
The award event was graced by the presence of Transport Ministry secretary-general Datuk Jana Santhiran Muniayan, Transport Ministry Land Division undersecretary Datuk Mohamed Irwan Mansor, Malaysian Automotive Association president Mohd Shamsor Mohd Zain, Malaysian Advertisers Association president Claudian Navin Stanislaus, and Malaysia Automotive, Robotics and IoT Institute deputy CEO Nizmar Mohd Nazar.

The Kia EV9 made its debut in Malaysia in May 2024 with the starting price of RM 368,888.00* for the 7-seating configuration and RM 373,888.00* for the 6-seater configuration.
