Leapmotor Confirms No.1 NEV Start Up Position, with Robust Q1 Growth and 50.029 Vehicles in March 2026

By confirming its position as a leading brand among EV start-ups in 2025, Leapmotor continues to strengthen its market leadership in early 2026. Supported by the strong market contribution of the full product ranging from A, B, C and D series, Leapmotor is now ranked No. 1 among new energy vehicle (NEV) start-ups in March and first quarter 2026.

In March 2026, Leapmotor recorded strong performance with 50,029 vehicles delivered (including both domestic and export sales), representing a 34.87% year-on-year increase. Over the first quarter, total deliveries reached 110,155 units (including both domestic and export sales), up 25.82% compared to the same period last year.

To sustain this growth momentum, the company is accelerating the introduction of new models. The brand’s flagship SUV, the D19, will be officially unveiled on April 16. In addition, at the Beijing Auto Show on April 24, Leapmotor will also reveal the Ultra version of the Lafa 5 electric hatchback (global naming B05), a rear-wheel-drive compact EV developed in collaboration with Stellantis’ European engineering team.

Looking ahead, Leapmotor is targeting substantial growth in 2026 with the introduction of four new models: the A10, D19, A05, and D99. Collectively, these models are expected to contribute approximately 60% of the brand’s total annual sales.

Following a strong rebound with 50,029 units delivered in March, Leapmotor is rapidly accelerating its strategic roadmap. This momentum is further bolstered by the market debut of the all-new A10 compact SUV (globally designated as B03X) and the imminent domestic launch of the D19.

Through an intensive product rollout and continued deployment of advanced technologies, the brand is reinforcing its ambition to become a leading, accessible player in the smart electric vehicle market.
