Maxim Malaysia has launched Maxim Drive Hub, a nationwide driver education initiative across 16 cities in Peninsular Malaysia, Sabah and Sarawak as part of its ongoing efforts to strengthen service quality, improve driver professionalism and enhance the overall e-hailing experience for Malaysians.
The initiative marks one of Maxim’s largest driver-focused educational efforts in Malaysia to date and introduces a more structured approach towards onboarding, compliance awareness and operational training for registered driver-partners nationwide.
As demand for e-hailing services continues to grow across the country, Maxim is placing greater emphasis on ensuring its drivers are properly equipped with the knowledge and guidance needed to operate professionally while delivering safe, efficient and reliable services to passengers.
Through a series of physical workshops conducted at selected Maxim branches nationwide, drivers will receive practical guidance on registration procedures, required documentation, platform navigation and service optimisation through the Taxsee Driver application. The sessions are designed to support both newly registered and existing drivers in understanding industry requirements while improving their readiness to operate within the evolving e-hailing landscape.
Among the key topics covered during the workshops are onboarding procedures for new drivers, tutorials on using application features such as Auto Mode and Filters, guidance on obtaining PSV and EVP documentation, e-hailing insurance requirements and information related to the BUDI95 petrol subsidy initiative.
The workshops also introduce drivers to additional earning opportunities available within the platform, including referral incentives, urgent order features, vehicle advertising programmes and shift purchase systems designed to support more sustainable income opportunities.
Drivers participating in the vehicle advertising programme may also benefit from reduced commission rates, increased booking priority and additional monthly incentives. The initiative forms part of Maxim’s broader efforts to provide drivers with more sustainable and accessible opportunities within the digital transportation sector.
Mohd Hazwan Musley, Director of Maxim E-hailing Malaysia, said the initiative reflects the company’s commitment towards building a more knowledgeable, compliant and service-oriented driver community across the country.
The initiative is currently being rolled out across 16 cities nationwide, including key locations such as Kuala Lumpur, Johor Bahru, Kuantan, Kota Kinabalu, Sandakan, Sibu, Kuching, Bintulu and Labuan, along with other selected cities across Malaysia, reflecting Maxim’s continued expansion and long-term commitment to supporting local driver communities nationwide.
Drivers interested in participating in upcoming workshop sessions or registering as Maxim driver-partners may obtain further information through their nearest Maxim branch or Maxim Malaysia’s official communication channels.
