Motosikal dan Enjin Nasional Sdn Bhd (“MODENAS”) has introduced new colour options and graphic designs for its Modenas Pulsar RS200 street bike. The Modenas Pulsar RS200 was first launched in May 2017, as MODENAS entered the street bike segment. It has since gained a fair following, and is famed for being an affordable 200cc bike that is fuel efficient.
The popular model’s three new paint schemes are Pearl Metallic White and Pewter Grey – both glossy finishes – and Burnt Red, a matte finish. The distinctive look to the Modenas Pulsar RS200 are white alloy wheels, carbon-fibre texture finished front and rear fenders, and the Pulsar logo hot stamped on the seats. These new colour and graphic schemes add to the attractiveness of the Modenas Pulsar RS200, which appeals both to riders migrating to bigger bikes, as well as experienced riders.
Assembled at the MODENAS manufacturing facility in Gurun, Kedah, the Modenas Pulsar NS200 is powered by a 4-stroke SOHC-4Vliquid-cooled DTS-i engine, churning out 24.5PS and 18.6Nm of torque. The model offers a single-channel ABS that uses a 300 mm single brake disc in front, a 230 mm unit at the back and has a-13 litre fuel tank.
Additionally, the bike comes with front telescopic absorbers, which are equipped with an anti-friction bush and a nitrox mono-shock gas chamber at the rear. This offers a firm yet enjoyable and engaging riding experience.
The recommended selling price for the 2021 MODENAS Pulsar RS200 is RM 9,990 (without insurance and roadtax), priced the same as the previous variant.
