Rolls-Royce Motor Cars and the UEM Group present a Gentlemen’s Weekend

Rolls-Royce Motor Cars Kuala Lumpur and the UEM Sunrise Berhad, held the inaugural event- STYLO Gentlemen’s Weekend from the 26 - 28 of October 2018 at the marina of Puteri Harbour in Johor.

The event will feature the Malaysia debut of Rolls-Royce’s Black Badge range.

“The Rolls-Royce Black Badge range is the alter ego of the brand: edgier, darker, more assertive, bolder and more powerful.  Black Badge reaches out to a different type of Rolls-Royce customer. Risk takers who are affluent and highly successful, they appreciate uncompromised performance with super luxury standards of engineering and craftsmanship”, says Dato’ Michael Ong, Managing Director of Rolls-Royce Motor Cars Kuala Lumpur.

“This is unique in that it features what every Gentleman is looking for and displayed in one very convenient location across from Singapore”, says Rolv Reissiger, Chairman of the STYLO Gentleman’s Weekend.

It is an entire weekend showcasing men’s lifestyle products like fashion, cigars and big boys toys - helicopters, seaplanes, super cars, classic cars and luxury yachts.

This B2C event equation will also be a feature of exhibitors from South East Asia which will be a networking platform for dealers, brokers and manufacturers of big boys toys.

“It is an exceptional tourism setting as the most strategic southern gateway to the world,” says Datuk Roslan Ibrahim, Chief Operating Officer of UEM Sunrise. “Yet a ‘must sail to’ destination for the sailing fraternity”.

Located at Latitude 1°25’N and Longitude 103°39.5’E, Puteri Harbour is undisputedly the southern-most marina and waterfront development on the mainland of Malaysia. Highlight of the launch includes the opening of the USA-based International Seakeepers Society in Puteri Harbour. It will be the second opening in all of Asia after Singapore.

With a membership of only 600 plus worldwide which includes James Cameron, Paul Allen and Mikhail Gorbachev, it supports marine science and conservation by utilising yachts for research, educational outreach and for deploying oceanographic instruments.

The event is poised to attract thousands of visitors and aims to boost the potential and marketability of Puteri Harbour as a tourism destination.

STYLO Gentlemen’s Weekend is organised by STYLO International with Malaysia Fashion Week (MFW) and the Maritime International Showcase Malaysia (MISM) as its partners.
